Why People Fail
I want to confront one ugly truth: not everyone will succeed at MLM.
For every one of the network marketing success stories out there, there will likely be 9 or 10 failures. But why is that?
A common reason that people don’t get into direct sales is that they don’t have the money.
I’ll give it to you straight. The real issue is not lack of money. It’s an overabundance of unrealistic expectations. There, I said it.
If you get into this biz and think that all you’re gonna have to do is pay for your monthly membership and the cash will simply start flowing, then you are in for a rude awakening.
If this is really your game plan then I need for you to scroll to the top of this webpage and click on that pretty red X in the right hand corner. This is not for you.
That’s not the way to succeed at MLM. It’s not even remotely close.
What it takes…
Even having all of the money in the world wouldn’t help you become one the network marketing success stories if THAT is your mindset. In order to succeed at MLM you are going to have to work. Consistently. For some time. We’re talking months here. You can’t just put in a few days work and expect to see tremendous results. A four star General did not become a General overnight. S/he started out at the bottom just like everyone else.
Now, I could lie to you and say that this is easy and that anyone can do it. But I really have no interest in recruiting 10,000 people who are just going to drop out after one month. No, my goal is to help people to change their lives. And to do that, I need to find the people who are willing to work to make it happen.
If your goal is to become financially independent then there are two things I need you to know up front:
This will take you more than a year. Be committed to that. If you can’t commit a year of your life to changing your life, then this is probably not for you.
You will need to work this every day. Consistency is key.
Now, let’s talk about some REALISTIC goals. It is realistic for you to recruit five new team members in your first month so that your membership is paid for. It is realistic to help your team members to do the same thing. And, don’t forget, I will be there to help you.
Do you know what a GRQer is?
GRQ stands for Get Rich Quick. Let me tell you something – there is no such thing as getting rich quickly (aside from hitting the lottery). There is no legitimate program out there that will allow you to simply enroll, pay a fee, and then sit back and watch the money pile up.
It really doesn’t work that way. That’s why it is called network marketing. You have to actually do the marketing.
A network marketing company is like a set of mechanic’s tools. Just because you own the tools does not mean that they are going to magically get up and fix things on their own. You must use the tools to get results. You must have an understanding of what you will be working on.
Let’s face it, there are lots of people that join biz opps and sit back and let everyone else do the work. They don’t even tell one person about it. And then they wonder what their sponsor did to succeed. “Must be because they already had the money. Or they knew the right people. Or they were in a better area.”
Let me tell you – there is no secret to success. You have to put in the work. You can’t sit around waiting for someone to do the work for you. Or make excuses. You have to be self-motivated.
Personally, I am not the type of leader to go around calling everyone on my team to check in. I leave my door open and it’s up to my team to walk through the door. I never turn people away when they need help.
But I don’t go chasing people around either. It’s tiring. I find that the people who really want to succeed come to me. I provide you with the tools. If you want to succeed at MLM then you will use them. There’s nothing stopping you…except you.
So let’s get this train rolling. Jump on board with us!
Make it a Happy Day!
P.S. Don’t look back a year from now and regret that you didn’t get started today?
